Tips for Usage:

1. In a ceramic container, keep water and sprinkle it onto the inkstone. Utilize one end of the inkstone to grind in a circular motion with a small amount of water. The ink is ready to use when it becomes thick and dark. Avoid using partially ground ink. For a gray tone, add water to dilute it.
2. Always wash away any remaining ink; using overnight ink can result in inferior tones.
3. Avoid leaving moisture on the Sumi stick. Wipe it immediately with a piece of rice paper or tissue and allow it to air dry after each use.
4. Store the inksticks in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and drafts. This high-quality inkstick includes a storage box made of tung wood. Do not store them in humid conditions as it may cause mold. Additionally, avoid exposing them to sunlight or wind.
